Collaboration and Design Management
Original collections of decorative hardware and supporting collateral and displays developed for multiple brands under Belwith Products, LLC with in house product and graphic designers, engineers, and model makers.
Door Program Development
Original door collections designed around a theme, style, or function. I created the original design sketch and with the help of our in-house design department, made sure the ergonomics, engineering, and proportions were right. Here the process is shown from concept sketch to catalog layout.
Residential Furniture Development
My process begins with researching and hand sketching around a theme, style, or function. Final presentation renderings were created by hand and by computer. CAD data was created for hand-off to manufacturing.
Outdoor Furniture Development
Two design projects that focus on outside use. "Zip" is a public bench with seat heights for adults and childre. "Accommodator" folds from a table to a chair as your needs change.
Lighting Development
Lighting product concepts through to final production. Currently sold through Lighting Enterprises.
Tradeshow Concept Development
My final Industrial Design project revolved around creating a tradeshow display for BASF. This gallery contains images spanning that semester and shows the process of building models, sketching, brainstorming, and refining. This course was instrumental in opening my eyes to new ways of creating concepts.
